Full Refurbishment, Signage Package and Extensions
ADG provided architectural design for the interior and exterior refurbishment and building extensions including a new canopy for passenger drop off and luggage collection. ADG also provided full interior design and customised furnishings, new check in and baggage handling facilities, new identity, information and directional signage.
A key feature was the redesign of a tired and problematic food outlet to provide a more attractive and welcoming dining experience. Although originally intended for rail passengers the new cafe now attracts patrons from surrounding offices and business centres.
Work continues on the planning of improvements to the broader site including entries, approaches, boundaries, landscaping, urban connections and sustainability options.
